Horațiu Lipot

Horațiu Lipot (b. 1989, Alba Iulia) is a curator and cultural journalist. As of 2021, he works as an independent curator, collaborating with venues either from the ON or OFF art- scene in Bucharest, and the other local cultural centers, Cluj, Timișoara, and Iași. Since 2023 he has been managing the OFF-space project CONECTOR, together with Radu Comșa, in the space of the multinational company, Electroglobal, from Cluj Napoca. Previously, between 2019 and 2021 he was the artistic director of Atelier 35, and in 2021 of IOMO gallery, in Bucharest. Between 2017 and 2019, he was in charge of the program for Witte Gallery located in Ulft, The Netherlands. He writes reviews and essays about the current artistic realities events, in publications such as ARTA magazine, Observator Cultural, Tomis, as well as for other magazines or publications that accompany various concepts, whether personal or collaborative. In 2023, together with Cristina Stoenescu and Georgia Țidorescu he was awarded the Bega Art Prize.
